Lesson 6

TO BE GOING TO+ V

Use TO BE GOING TO +v (Present Progressive)to speak about PLANS, INTENTIONS, DECISIONS for FUTURE

This weekend I am going to visit my parents. I am going to help my dad in the garden.

What are you going to do this weekend?

Are you going to watch a video with your friend? – Yes. We are. / No, we aren’t.

!!!!If the main verb is GO it is not necessary to write it with the Future TO BE GOING TO

We’re definitely going (not are going to go)
